Szczegóły

Mineral wool core sandwich panels are a solution that stands out in the construction market. They are self-supporting and perform two key functions – they can be used as wall or roof partitions while simultaneously providing effective thermal insulation. Their excellent acoustic insulation properties are also worth highlighting, as they help improve comfort inside the building.

The most important feature of these panels, however, is their fire safety performance. Thanks to the use of a non-combustible rock wool core, they are an excellent choice for buildings where enhanced fire resistance is required. For this reason, they are classified as A2 non-combustible materials and, depending on the core thickness, can achieve fire resistance ratings of up to EI 240.

In practice, this means that the partition can maintain its fire integrity and insulation performance for up to 240 minutes, providing valuable time for safe evacuation and more effective protection of property.

Mineral wool sandwich panels can be used in a wide range of applications, including external and internal walls, suspended ceilings, and roofs. Their popularity is largely due to the fact that they can significantly speed up the construction process. Installation is simpler, less complex and, importantly, often more cost-effective.

These are prefabricated elements suitable for various types of structures, including steel, metal, and timber structures. The final choice depends on the specific requirements of the project and the individual needs of the investor.
