termPIR ETX 140 mm insulation boards are designed for the thermal insulation of external walls in both residential and industrial buildings. They are intended for installation in ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems). The boards consist of a rigid PIR thermal insulation core faced on both sides with a vapour-permeable glass fibre facing (ETX).

The advanced technology used in the production of termPIR ETX provides a very low thermal conductivity for insulation materials intended for external wall applications, with λ = 0.025–0.027 W/(m·K).

The glass fibre facing is designed to provide excellent adhesion when installed using suitable adhesive systems and supports reliable integration of the boards into ETICS façade insulation systems.

Dimensions and Edge Profiles

termPIR ETX PIR insulation boards are available in the recommended installation size of:

1200 × 600 mm

The boards are available with two edge profile options:

• FIT – straight edge
• TAG – tongue and groove – available for boards over 80 mm thick

Profiled edges facilitate installation and help minimise thermal bridges at board joints.

Available Thicknesses

termPIR ETX insulation boards are available in thicknesses ranging from 20 to 250 mm, allowing the insulation layer to be selected according to the thermal requirements of the building.
