S 700 liquid rubber is a polymer-modified elastomeric bitumen emulsion for protecting bituminous, metal, concrete and wooden surfaces. The manufacturer describes elongation of up to 900%. Once dry, it forms a seamless, flexible membrane that accommodates movement in the substrate.
APPLICATIONS:
• waterproofing roofs;
• waterproofing balconies and terraces;
• waterproofing beneath tiles in wet rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms;
• waterproofing existing bituminous coatings, roofing felt and sheet-metal roofs;
• protecting polyurethane foam insulation;
• corrosion protection for metal structures.
Features of S 700 / N 500 liquid rubber waterproofing:
- Cold application.
- Suitable for renovation of existing roofing, subject to the manufacturer’s substrate preparation instructions.
- Elongation up to 900% with shape recovery.

- Waterproofing of horizontal and vertical surfaces.
- Resistance to frost, ageing and UV exposure, as described by the manufacturer.

The product’s thick consistency helps it fill gaps and reach difficult areas. It can be applied to vertical surfaces and used either across a whole surface or for a local repair where the leak has been identified.
For manual application, use a roller or brush and apply the quantity specified for the substrate and waterproofing system. At cracks and junctions between vertical and horizontal surfaces, embed geotextile reinforcement in the first coat. Apply the second coat over the reinforced layer without adding another layer of reinforcement.
