THERMANO products are among the most advanced thermal insulation boards designed for industrial, residential and agricultural construction. The rigid PIR core of THERMANO insulation boards provides excellent thermal insulation performance, making it easier and more economical to heat buildings and maintain the desired indoor temperature.

Construction of THERMANO Boards

The core material used in the production process is polyisocyanurate (PIR). It is protected on both sides by a gas-tight multilayer facing consisting of polymer layers and aluminium foil.

The high quality and gas-tight properties of the facing help ensure long-term stability of the board’s thermal insulation performance.

The THERMANO PIR core is produced from two main components – polyols and isocyanates – combined with modifying additives. It has a closed-cell structure, which creates an effective barrier to water penetration and water vapour diffusion.

Available Edge Profiles

THERMANO insulation boards are available with different edge profiles:

• BASIC – straight edge
• tongue and groove
• rebated / stepped edge

This allows the appropriate board configuration to be selected depending on the construction system and intended application.
