Rigid PIR insulation boards are a modern and highly efficient solution for the thermal insulation of various building elements. They are ideal for insulating floors, flat and pitched roofs, ceilings, walls, partition walls and foundations.

Aluminium-Faced PIR Board – High Insulation Performance

Rigid PIR boards with aluminium facings on both sides combine excellent thermal insulation performance with durability and a wide range of applications. They can be used in both new construction projects and the thermal renovation of existing buildings.

The material has a very low thermal conductivity of λD = 0.022 W/(m·K). This makes it possible to achieve effective thermal insulation with a thinner insulation layer compared with many traditional insulation materials.

PIR boards are also resistant to moisture and changing temperature conditions. When properly installed, they create a durable insulation layer that maintains its properties over a long period of time.

PIR AL Insulation Board 20 mm

Boards with a thickness of 20 mm are an excellent solution wherever it is important to minimise the thickness of the insulation layer while maintaining very good thermal performance.

For a 20 mm termPIR AL board, the thermal resistance is R = 0.90 m²K/W.

PIR AL insulation boards are available in a wide range of thicknesses, from 20 to 250 mm, and in two standard sizes:

• 1200 × 2400 mm – large board,
• 1200 × 600 mm – small board.

Depending on the application, the boards are available with three different edge profiles: straight edge, tongue-and-groove and rebated edge. Properly profiled edges make installation easier and faster while also helping to reduce thermal bridging at the joints between the boards.
