termPIR® AL GK 100 mm – high thermal insulation performance and convenient interior finishing

The termPIR® AL GK 100 mm insulation board combines the high thermal insulation performance of a PIR core with a factory-bonded 12.5 mm gypsum plasterboard. The product is primarily designed for effective thermal insulation from the inside of buildings.

The rigid PIR (polyisocyanurate) foam core has a very low thermal conductivity of λD = 0.022 W/(m·K). The 100 mm PIR layer provides excellent thermal performance and helps effectively reduce energy loss through building elements.

By combining PIR insulation with gypsum plasterboard, a single product provides thermal insulation while also creating a surface suitable for further interior finishing. This solution can simplify construction, reduce the number of separately installed layers and streamline installation work.

The termPIR® AL GK 100 mm board features a rigid PIR foam core with a gas-tight multilayer facing based on paper and aluminium. A 12.5 mm gypsum plasterboard is factory-bonded to the thermal insulation layer.

This combination makes it possible to benefit from the high thermal insulation efficiency of PIR and the functionality of gypsum plasterboard in a single product. It is a practical solution for both new construction and the renovation and thermal modernisation of existing buildings.
