termPIR® AL GK 80 mm – high thermal insulation performance and practical interior finishing

The termPIR® AL GK 80 mm insulation board is a modern solution combining the high thermal insulation performance of a PIR core with a factory-bonded 12.5 mm gypsum plasterboard. The product is primarily designed for thermal insulation from the inside of buildings.

The rigid PIR (polyisocyanurate) foam core has a very low thermal conductivity of λD = 0.022 W/(m·K). The 80 mm PIR layer provides high thermal insulation performance and effectively helps reduce energy loss while maintaining a favourable balance between material thickness and thermal insulation properties.

Combining PIR insulation with gypsum plasterboard integrates a thermal insulation layer with a surface suitable for further interior finishing. This solution can streamline installation work and reduce the number of separately installed layers.

The termPIR® AL GK 80 mm board features a rigid PIR foam core with a gas-tight multilayer facing based on paper and aluminium. A 12.5 mm gypsum plasterboard is factory-bonded to the thermal insulation layer.

This construction combines the excellent thermal insulation properties of PIR with the functionality of gypsum plasterboard. It helps improve the thermal performance of the building element while preparing the interior surface for subsequent finishing work.
