The termPIR® AL GK 70 mm insulation board is a modern solution combining the high thermal insulation performance of a PIR core with a factory-bonded 12.5 mm gypsum plasterboard. The product is primarily designed for thermal insulation from the inside of buildings.

The rigid PIR (polyisocyanurate) foam core has a very low thermal conductivity of λD = 0.022 W/(m·K). The 70 mm PIR layer provides a high level of thermal insulation, helping to reduce heat loss without the need for an excessively thick layer of insulation material.

Combining PIR with gypsum plasterboard makes it possible to integrate thermal insulation and a surface suitable for further interior finishing into a single solution. This can simplify installation work and is particularly beneficial for renovation and thermal modernisation projects.

The termPIR® AL GK 70 mm board features a rigid PIR foam core with a gas-tight multilayer facing based on paper and aluminium. A 12.5 mm gypsum plasterboard is factory-bonded to the thermal insulation layer.

This solution combines the excellent thermal insulation properties of PIR with the functionality of gypsum plasterboard, helping to improve the thermal performance of the building element while preparing the interior surface for further finishing work.
