termPIR® AL GK 40 mm – effective thermal insulation and interior finishing

The termPIR® AL GK 40 mm insulation board combines the high thermal insulation performance of a PIR core with a factory-bonded 12.5 mm gypsum plasterboard. The product is primarily designed for thermal insulation from the inside of buildings.

The rigid PIR (polyisocyanurate) foam core has a very low thermal conductivity. As a result, the 40 mm PIR layer provides effective thermal insulation without the need for a significantly thicker layer of conventional insulation material.

Combining PIR with gypsum plasterboard makes it possible to create both a thermal insulation layer and a surface suitable for further interior finishing in a single solution. This is particularly practical for renovation and thermal modernisation projects where improving the thermal performance of the building element while preserving as much usable interior space as possible is important.

termPIR® AL GK 40 mm – PIR + gypsum plasterboard

The termPIR® AL GK 40 mm board consists of a rigid PIR foam core with a gas-tight multilayer facing based on paper and aluminium. A 12.5 mm gypsum plasterboard is factory-bonded to the thermal insulation layer.

This construction combines the thermal insulation properties of PIR with the functionality of gypsum plasterboard, helping to simplify both the insulation work and preparation of the interior surface for further finishing.
