termPIR® AL GK 60 mm – high thermal insulation performance and practical interior finishing

The termPIR® AL GK 60 mm insulation board is a modern solution combining the high thermal insulation performance of a PIR core with a factory-bonded 12.5 mm gypsum plasterboard. The product is primarily designed for thermal insulation from the inside of buildings.

The rigid PIR (polyisocyanurate) foam core has a very low thermal conductivity of λD = 0.022 W/(m·K). The 60 mm PIR layer provides a high level of thermal insulation, helping to effectively reduce heat loss while maintaining a relatively slim insulation layer.

Combining the PIR board with gypsum plasterboard integrates thermal insulation and a surface suitable for further interior finishing into a single product. This solution is particularly practical for renovation and thermal modernisation projects where both improved thermal performance and a reduced number of separately installed layers are important.

The termPIR® AL GK 60 mm board features a rigid PIR foam core with a gas-tight multilayer facing based on paper and aluminium. A 12.5 mm gypsum plasterboard is factory-bonded to the thermal insulation layer.

This construction combines the excellent thermal insulation properties of PIR with the functionality of gypsum plasterboard, helping to simplify internal insulation work and prepare the surface for further finishing.
