termPIR® AL GK 90 mm – high thermal insulation performance and functional interior finishing

The termPIR® AL GK 90 mm insulation board is a modern solution combining the high thermal insulation performance of a PIR core with a factory-bonded 12.5 mm gypsum plasterboard. The product is primarily designed for thermal insulation from the inside of buildings.

The rigid PIR (polyisocyanurate) foam core has a very low thermal conductivity of λD = 0.022 W/(m·K). The 90 mm PIR layer provides high thermal insulation performance, effectively helping to reduce energy loss through building elements.

The factory-bonded combination of PIR and gypsum plasterboard integrates a thermal insulation layer with a surface suitable for further interior finishing. This solution can streamline installation work, reduce the number of separately installed layers and simplify internal thermal renovation.

The termPIR® AL GK 90 mm board features a rigid PIR foam core with a gas-tight multilayer facing based on paper and aluminium. A 12.5 mm gypsum plasterboard is factory-bonded to the thermal insulation layer.

This combination brings together the excellent thermal insulation properties of PIR and the functionality of gypsum plasterboard in a single product. The board helps improve the thermal performance of the building element while preparing the interior surface for subsequent finishing work.
