The rigid PIR insulation board is a modern thermal insulation material offering excellent thermal performance and a wide range of applications. It is an excellent choice for effective thermal insulation in both new construction and renovation projects.

The 40 mm rigid PIR insulation board, with a thermal resistance of R = 1.85 m²K/W for termPIR AL, is a highly effective solution for improving the energy efficiency of buildings. Its excellent thermal performance helps reduce heat loss and lower the energy required for heating and cooling.
PIR AL Boards – Availability
PIR AL insulation boards are available from stock in two standard sizes:
- 1200 × 2400 mm
- 1200 × 600 mm
The boards are available with three edge profile options:
- rebated / stepped edge
- tongue and groove
- straight edge
Our range includes PIR insulation boards from various manufacturers in thicknesses from 20 mm to 250 mm.
Boards up to 150 mm thick are available from stock at all ASPanel branches. Thicker boards are available to order.
