Modern construction requires insulation materials that provide excellent thermal performance, durability and easy installation. 80 mm PIR insulation boards such as termPIR AL, Thermano or Recticel are an excellent choice for projects where high thermal performance and ease of installation are important. With a low thermal conductivity – for example, λD = 0.022 W/(m·K) for termPIR AL – and a thermal resistance of R = 3.70 m²K/W, the board provides highly effective protection against heat loss and helps improve the thermal comfort of the building.
PIR AL is a rigid insulation board made of polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam with an aluminium facing. It is suitable for insulating pitched and flat roofs, walls, floors and ceilings. Its excellent thermal performance helps reduce the energy required for heating and cooling, contributing to improved energy efficiency and lower operating costs.
